Sipping Fine Wine

Michel Rolland first went to Argentina in 1988, loved the country so he and Jean-Michel Arcaute, from Pomerol founded winery. A blend of 55% Malbec, 19% Merlot, 10% Cab Sauv, 12% Syrah and rest Petit Verdot & Cab Franc. Deep Ruby, purple edges, aromas of dark fruit oak and spice. The palate shows rich black fruit, blackberries and blueberries, smoky oak and pepper spice adding tobacco and leather with slight cacao and lively acidity. Fine tannins on a medium+ finish. Nice value, drink over near term.

Really enjoyed this. Took a while to fully open up but it was worth it. And good. I’m a sucker for Malbec.

To my knowledge there isn’t a wine HOF, but if there was this one could make it in on its 12th year of eligibility. Smooth and soft, but not overwhelming. Could become a go to.

Enjoyed this with stephany, Christian, JH, Nina, Olivia, and Isadora getting ready for Christmas at 5632 langdon court! A really nice sipping wine with sushi I. The laye afternoon before we head out for evening events. So smooth and light to medium body. Really nicely crafted brend of several grapes. This one took some time to figure out!

Rich Malbec blend, fruity with noticable tanins that get more pronounced with aeration.

Bold but smooth. Paired well with burrata pesto!

Dark red and black fruits on the nose accompany white peppercorns and other flavor of spices on the palate. An excellent expression of a Malbec blend, particularly for the price.

Like a complex Bordeaux, but kind of kitchen sink, malbec, merlot, cab, cab franc, syrah, petit verdot. Is there anything else you can add? But still, this is pretty yummy. Big punch of cherry, with vanilla and cinnamon. Dark with deep but not overwhelming tannins. Had a 48 hour dry brined ribeye, it married well. Very nice for the cost. Give it plenty of air, >1 hour in the decanter.
