I love a good Petite Sirah and this one doesn’t disappoint. I poured big because that was all that was left. Cheers!

Ventured away from the Italian wines after finding out California was a leader in producing Petite Sirah. This is fantastic- full bodied with a peppery profile. Something else that makes it deep and lush that I can’t figure out. I’m impressed!

A BIG wine…..dark in color with medium tannins; paired with grilled flank steak tacos

Wow! This is a gem of a Sirah! Black cherry and currant greet the nose and the legs are long and lovely. It presents younger than I like so I plan on cellaring the other bottles to revisit in a year or so but for now I’m going to enjoy a bold wine the likes of which I haven’t had in a while. The finish is mild and a lingering aftertaste slowly fades into the next sip. This is a good one and under $30.
