God this is so good, even better than last year’s imo. Lightly chilled. Zoom dates.

Not our favorite. Dry, not juicy, not peppery. Ok.

Absolutely delish. Interesting yogurt nose and light on the palate with a wave of blackberries and cherry kicking in once you start sipping. Very enjoyable.

Pleasant wine. Somewhat sweet. Better with food than just sitting and drinking a glass.

Medium cherry red color with violet accents. Fruit absolutely bursting on the nose with strawberry candy, lemon tarts, and the ripest blackberry I can remember from a wine. And the funk, oh the funk. It’s not nearly as pronounced or dominant like say on a good Burgundy, but rather it’s lurking in the background the entire time. Waiting to pounce.

There’s a huge difference between a simple, thoughtless wine and a deliberately uncomplicated one. This is obviously crafted with care and a total understanding for what the end product should be. Half Zinfandel, half Carignan this is probably the lightest Zin I’ve ever tasted. It’s so buoyant and fun. All the zestiness that you’ve come to expect from a natural wine.

On the palate, there’s more candied red fruit, hints of rosemary, rhubarb, and dried herbs. Cinnamon and rhubarb join the party too. I hate to be one of those people but this is the perfect wine for summer. Chill it, pop it, drink it. That’s all. Just let yourself fall into this and enjoy it. You’ll be glad you did.

Sweet and herbal, like ripe huckleberries that grow around Trinidad Head Lighthouse. Pairing w/ Normal People streaming on Hulu.
