Popped and poured; no formal notes. I found this bottle of the 2018 Juliénas to be good…but not on the level of enjoyment that I get from Lapierre’s standard Morgon. It’s very pretty and floral…and a bit natty with some barnyard funk reminding you that these wines see the lightest of touches. A nice, somewhat rustic wine. Perhaps I’m being a bit harsh…but the Morgon is so compelling in comparison. Drink now.
