Pop and pour, realized I had made a mistake and then vigorously decanted...didn't help much: muddled and disjointed. Put this on the counter overnight. If you have to drink this now, give it at least 24 hrs slow ox. Notes from 24 hrs open. On the nose: pure blackberry and cedar, some cassis, soft vanilla. On the palate: soft acidity, which is my only real complaint, fantastic density, tangy black raspberry and currant, and very soft, grainy tannin on the finish. Just singing today.
