Лососёвый цвет. В аромате старая деревянная мебель, земляника с землёй, каштановый мёд, белый перец, табак. Полное тело, во вкусе компот из яблок, сушёная вишня и клубника, фундук, мёд. Сухо, с ярким хересным тоном. Несколько эклектично, но с внутренней гармонией. Интересно. 17/20

Leftover from the Slovenian PM's visit to Seattle. Lovely Slovenian orange wine. Sherry-like, without the nuttiness. Delicious, vibrant acidity.

Feb 8th, 2016Intriguing. "Orange" Pinot Gris fermented with full skin contact. Classic, though not bold, Pinot Gris aromas of dried apricots and minerals. Dry, crisp, yet with a distinctive tannic grip. Drinks well cool and drinks fine at cellar temp. Label says barrique aged -- likely neutral as no significant wood notes -- and built to age -- believable; enough grip to make me wonder how this would taste in a year or two.
