Grand Cru Brut Champagne Blend

Full-bodied, just dry enough, and complexly layered. 80 Pinot Noir, 20 Chardonnay. Disgorged October 29, 2020.

Popped and poured after the Gonet-Medeville BdN 1er. This is also mostly Pinot Noir however with 20% Chardonnay. Comparatively, this pours a more pale color, again with a persistent mousse. Aromas of white flowers (specifically citrus blossom), white peach, and ever so lightly toasted brioche. On the palate, white peach, pink lady apple, lemon and minerals. Good acid. Long finish. Lovely texture. This came across as a noticeably more rich, refined, and elegant Champagne and it made a beautiful pairing with my selection of Mussels Dijonnaise. Disgorged August 21, 2018

Fullllll and nutty and pure. Excellent with pork belly at 1760

Disgorgement March, 2001, at peak of perfection. Toasty creamy, long finish, brilliant wine.

A balance of crisp and round. Lemon and mineral and soft leesiness. Restraint and clarity.

Farmer Fizz, wonderful elegance and layers

Pretty and weighty, showcasing the majority pinot fruit. Very vinous.

From 60-year-old vines, the oldest on Lallement's tiny, four hectare estate, the Brut Cuvée Reserve is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. This lovely Cuvée shows the winemakers touch, with a fine mousse and creamy texture. Aromas of brioche, red berries, toasted nuts and spring flowers. Subtle and pleasing, with minerality and chalk, balanced acidity and a medium plus finish.
