Needed some air. With an hour decant this wine showed gorgeous layers. Rich cassis, black pepper and black cherry. An inkiness and loads of new barrel smells. A touch of mint intermingled on the nose and mid palate. Very, very good wine for the price. Great acid and a generous finish to say the least.
