Well balanced, ripe wild strawberries and good acidity. Wonderful nose. A win. #GerardBertrand

I picked this @gerardbertrandwines $20 beauty up from @danmurphys and yes I totally bought it for the bottle initially! If you take a look a few posts back you can check out the video where I show you what's on the bottom of this bottle 😜

It's a rosé from the South of France made from Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. After checking out the website I see there's also a red and white in the 'Cote Des Roses' range and it's; "A wine which celebrates the Mediterranean Art de Vivre! Its originality extends to the rose-shaped bottle, designed by a young student of the Ecole Boulle".

It's a pale peach/rose gold colour on the eye (in fact it was a dead ringer for my iPhone!). The nose is very subtle with creamy citrus and red fruits. The delicate nature didn't stop there with an elegant structure in the mouth, I found it leaning towards the floral side of things in terms of flavour with hints of red currant and refreshing citrus. Super easy-drinking and I think next time I might splurge on the $40 magnum

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine

This is a really light and delicious summer rosé. Light strawberry and crisp citrus make it an anytime sipper. Recommended.

Less than $20 and overdelivers in spades. Smells like an open field somewhere in Languedoc where the air is crisp and brimming with magnetic floral energy. Not a complex wine, by any means but, a fun and lovely expression of a place.

Happy time with this wine. Syrah is the most prominent flavor. Worth it.

This was surprisingly good. I’m not a huge rose fan but I would definitely have this again. Not too fruity, not too sweet. Plus it’s in a really cool bottle with a glass cork.
