Someone spent a lot of time on the packaging for this wine, from the custom bottle mold, down to the pink hued Vino-Seal glass closure. Is the wine good? For it's price, the Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses 2014 is quite drinkable, with enveloping notes of ripe honeydew and cantaloup on the nose. The minerally vein coursing through this Langeudoc pink is all limestone and schist, focused to through to a persistent finish. Dried cranberry and pink grapefruit lend complexity.

Nice Rose from Languedoc. Not as bone dry as Provence and minus he ocean air nose. Light bodied with a hint of cranberry and crisp short dry finish. Nothing lingering. Paired with Turkey Chipotle Burgers and worked well enough. Save the bottle for a olive oil carafe.

Strawberry, red cherry and lots of mineral flavors. Perfect with boiled shrimp and artichoke dip.

Pretty rose shaped bottle with a pink, glass cork. And, hey! The wine inside was decent.

Reliable dry rose in a darling bottle, excellent for plain drinking or pairing with food.
