10' Gargiulo G Major 7. The initial nose & taste was very inviting. It stated to close up slightly.
Color- Dark Ruby. Palate- Blackcurrant, blueberry, licorice. With a splash of bitter chocolate. Lush, broad & velvety smooth. Medium + bodied. Needed a healthy decanting. Wait another year before opening them. Highly recommend! Edit- 2 hours later this was simply amazing!

This reminds me why I originally joined Gargiulos list. Not a big overpowering wine, but massively sexy. Silky. Velvet-like texture to it with a perfect finish.

So glad I got to visit gargiulo. This is a quintessential amazing wine waiting to be aged and appreciated. Delicate, mellow and full of personality.
