See Delectable note from 23 weeks ago. No lengthy notes on this occasion but it retained the lemony citrus notes together with mineral and a distinct salinity. A refreshing and moreish Mediterranean white. Unoaked.

The aromatics were typical of a Mediterranean white with flowers and minerality more so than fruit driven. Initially a creaminess to the palate which finishes quite mineral/salty. The saltiness dominates somewhat at the end which finishes bone dry. Following day a great match with fresh Pacific Oysters.

if you see "Assyrtiko" on a #wine list, just order it. You'll love it, I promise. It's the perfect white #wine for a sweltering summer, refreshing AND interesting AND affordable. Here at the surprisingly great new resto @MotelMorris. (And #Greek wineries: you need to do a better job of promoting how delicious your #wines can be!)

Apples, peaches and olives on the nose. Great minerality, with spicy finish. Oaky on the palate and a complex citrucy back lingering. Very good

Out of all the Santorini, this one stood out...unripe peaches, flint and a perfect balance of Santorini salinity

Suuuuch a good wine. Aromatic with loads of slate and flint, lemon, lemon pith, green apple skin, ripe grapefruit and an acacia floral thing. High acid, good length with slight phenolics.

A LOT of SO2. Fruity, mineral, tart. Lemony.
