Wow didn't know zinfandel could taste like this! Very fresh on the nose with pine, sage, and green stemmy aromas. Some anise. Tart red fruit like cherries, strawberries, raspberries. Crunchy blackberries. Herbal undertone (dried). Med+ acidity and well integrated tannins. This almost feels like a Barbera from Piemonte. Truly exceptional stuff from Matthew Rorick and Forlorn Hope!
