Notes are cumbersome, so no notes today but plus side, scores are honest and I should be a professional reviewer, LOL. (Good, but not 2019 good, detailed notes on future bottles...)

On the Lawn at Tanglewood this final afternoon with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our guest conductor Michael Tilson Thomas is leading IVES (Psalm 90) and BEETHOVEN (Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Opus 125).

After a two-year pause, we arrive again to the day when Beethoven concludes on these hallowed grounds. The 9th by Beethoven is always bittersweet for us, as it marks the end of the official Symphony and Pops season for the BSO at their Summer home. It is a wonderful and singularly emotive piece moved with the full force of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus (110+) conveying the message of a divine spark of joy that makes all people one. The music and the day almost bring me to tears on an annual basis...
'Freude, schöner Götterfunken!' / 'Joy, beauteous, godly spark!'

Not ready yet, tight and aromatics not open for business. Getting hints next day. Thankfully not much VA.

N: Now that’s the best jolly rancher I’ve huffed.Candied strawberry goodness. A little bit of mysterious wooddiness *around the edges.
P: Bright, terrific acidity, popin’ red fruits, just slightly herbal. A great match for the saltiness of baked ham. Glou-Glou indeed.
Thanks @fassselections

In the hottest summer since forever, Enderle & Moll Spat rose is the solution to my Texas problem. This works for when I want red and red doesn't want to work. It's the heart and soul of German Spat with the ability to quench thirst. A cool dip off Liason, with more texture and thicker concentration.

It doesn't look like Rose'. It looks like 20 year old Barolo - crimson with browned edges. Awesome cherry laden notes. Fresh bing - dark to stain your fingers. And candied cherry too - like Ludens cough drops. And mint and menthol. And that texture - this is 13.5% ABV, but not syrupy the way Bandol rose's can be.

It's own exceptional thing. Drink at cellar temp.

N: Freshly tilled soil, Blood oranges, iron/blood, pink grapefruit, roses.
P: Magnificent inner mouth presence, viscosity, cherries with almost a metal tinge, long finish. Blanched citrus rinds,
A wonderful thing indeed. W agitation, fresh strawberries come to the fore.
Thanks @ Fassselections
