Les Longeroies Marsannay Pinot Noir

Lovely stuff. Totally ready to go and drinking well. Day getting better. Crunchy fall leaves, mulch, shiitake mushrooms, & rich cherry.

slightly cloudy- unfined/unfiltered. earthy bardyardy at first- blew off. dried roses, sweet herbal, something in the realm of latex or rubber. tart sour acid tannin finish.

Sylvain Pataille is really making outstanding wine in Marsannay. Super enjoyable yummy yet a bit tense and savage. Absolutely loved it on day 2, just got way better but it was already very pleasant on day 1.

Morello cherries. Cherry bomb. Almost to much cherry but good for Valentine’s day. I am very surprised my wife does not like it. A little harsh. Needs may be 5 more years. Lime, very tart. Lacks a little bit on secondary interesting flavors.

Better with every sip. Creamy cherry and wild strawberries, fresh fallen leaves. Rounded. Delicate, supple tannins.
