Smells like black pepper, tastes full of black cherry and wood. Fantastic for a Canadian wine. Delicious!

Blueberries, cherries. Robust tannins. Nice acidity. A little smokey. A little oaky and spicy.

Really clean, simple food friendly wine. Black cherry. Similar to Centine.

Incredible wine. It's not available at the LCBO, but can be ordered from the winery.

Smooth. However, it lacks body. Still a good wine, I just expect more from a Ripasso style wine.

Nice nose. Looks pale with orange-brown edge like a Sangiovese, though it has none in the blend. (Maybe that's a characteristic of ripasso wines???) Ripe red fruits initially with baking spices at the end. Good acidity. Worked with spag/meatballs.
