Smooth. However, it lacks body. Still a good wine, I just expect more from a Ripasso style wine.

Nice nose. Looks pale with orange-brown edge like a Sangiovese, though it has none in the blend. (Maybe that's a characteristic of ripasso wines???) Ripe red fruits initially with baking spices at the end. Good acidity. Worked with spag/meatballs.
