Francs-Côtes de Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend

Nice Bordeaux blend of Merlot 80%, Cabernet Franc 15% and Malbec 5%. Dark cherry and integrated oak. Medium to full bodied. Very good QPR!

2015 vintage.
80% Merlot, 15% Cab Franc and 5% Malbec.
Blackberry, blueberry and underbrush on the nose.
Dark black fruit, bit of milk chocolate, ripe plum with well integrated tannins and very smooth.
Medium plus acidity and it is ageing nicely.

Notes of chocolate-dipped blueberry, campfire smoke, vanilla, and hamster cage. Our hamster, Grandpa, really enjoyed this but he fell asleep in his food bowl. Highly recommend, plan to buy this by the case!

Magnum pour 2015. Big fruity plum, red cherry and light earth, opened up nicely. Good drying finish and calcium mineral.

Oo-ooh child things are gonna get easier

Dishwater, leather. Medium-bodied, finely structured, balanced. The oak is very much present but always under control.

Leather, black pepper, jammy berries.

Classic Bordeaux with complex aroma of soil, lead, wood, pencil, wet tobacco leaves and dark berries. Medium body with a bit of tannin and alcohol at the end. Should continue to improve over several years.

Beautiful fruit, rich coffee nose, progressive style but holds its Bordeaux charm

Jammy fruit, tobacco, pleasant tannins. Needs to be decanted and warm up for an hour.
