Cuvée Prestige Madiran Tannat

Vintage 1995 | If you have the patience to wait 27 years you can experience to taste a ripened Madiran ( or buy at auctions probably ). Black colour. Classic. Multi layered smell with chocolate, cherries, blackberry, exciting harmony and balance, and to be honoust a bit drying finish. A treat!

This probably needed the 20 years of aging to integrate the tannins, but it is killin' it right now. #tannat

Probably the best Madiran I have ever drink! Deep, tannic, red fruits and stay very long in flavor even with a strong meat with spices. Just perfect to drink after 24 years!

Black fruit and leather, showing more monolithic than the 1996, it could use a little more acid. It opens up dramatically in the glass, showing more acid and complexity.
