Creamy grapefruit/kumquat custard, citronella candle, flower bud, lemongrass, fresh ginger root, big ol bales of hay; palate is developed and well integrated with a smooth mineral undertone. Same wine, a year later, totally different impression. The first white Bordeaux I've ever legitimately dug.

Excellent, got better the longer it was opened and warmed up. A seminal white wine for me; had not had it in years. #bordeauxblanc #bdx 2011 vintage.
