Color of saturated purple. Nose of coffee beans, dark fruits, aldehyde, minty, oil paint, herbs, and fermented cabbage. Nose is complex and decent. Taste follows the nose with addition of oak, a bit zesty bitterness, soft tannins, a bit peppery, some more grapes and berries. Aftertaste has some more strawberry and bitterness, pretty decent medium long finishing.

I usually like wine with a ton of tannins, and this didn’t have that bite, but I still surprisingly loved the flavor. Not too sweet, good with pizza, and a great value.
