Light garnet color with a bit of an orange rim. Aromas of dark cherries, rose petals and cocoa. Same dark cherry fruit on the pallet with notes of dark chocolate and minerals. Mild and dusty tannins. Long finish. Revisited in September 2022. Wine continues to age gracefully. A bit more mushroom on the nose and pallet.
