First wine of the Holiday Weekend! Interesting Austrian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufrankish, Zweigelt, Merlot and Syrah. Bright red color with a ruby core. Dark cherry aromas with a hint of smoke and wet stones. Palate is full of cherry/red berry fruit with notes of dark chocolate, baking spices and black pepper. Touch of vanilla and cedar on the extremely long finish. Medium bodied, well structured and nicely balanced. Tannins are present but in check. — 3 months ago
Crisp and clean with under ripe pear and a soft stone fruit finish. A perfect white for the afternoon. So great. $18 or so at Top Ten — 3 months ago

Medium straw color; lime and green apple on the nose; medium plus acidity; a little residual sugar; tastes like star fruit, honey, and saline with a long finish. Nellie, Jen, Brian, and I like it. — 2 months ago
