Espectacular!! On a real Garnacha bender these days
Edit 03/2017- lifted red cherry, dark citrus oil, rosemary, granite, transparent. One of the best garnachas coming out of spain — 11 years ago
Room to age ... Beautiful balance. Briar, dark fruit, good mid-palate and medium tannin. I want to be Rosemary when I grow up. — 11 years ago
1.5 liter great wine, earthly, tobacco, currant smooth finish. Great with rack of Lamb rosemary au jus — 12 years ago
I find myself trying to pick the fruit into a forest of resolute, scented but not aggressive leather and I discover wood, tobacco, dried rose, rosemary, liqorice. Finally here is it, a vivid red fruit and rose petals. In the mouth, sweet tannins and spices. Balanced and intense structure. Good acidity. Leather is the "fil rouge" of this novel, written in proud tones, but elegantly painted with a clear and trasparent garnet red with an orange touch. — 11 years ago
Not as sexy as the 2010. Nose is m intensity of blackberry, plum, herbs, lavender, Rosemary, tobacco, cedar, oak. Palate has good structure, sweet red/black fruit, quite meaty, savoury, herbal, spicy, quite good. M acidity, m+ tannin, m+ full body, decent chewy m+ length. Would like to recasts in 6 months to year. Good+ — 11 years ago
What a fuckin nose... Cherry and tar and berry compote and tobacco and cedar and leather and roses and maybe rosemary. — 11 years ago
Jammed Black fruit with spice. Mint. Rosemary. Cocoa bean. Dust. Masa. Big weight with soft tannic structure and acid that isn't overbearing. Slight green edge that shows its youth. #wineschool — 11 years ago
Lovely big, oaky CA cabernet sauvignon. Brandied dark cherries, raisins, dried plums, toasted vanilla, tobacco, licorice, butter, rosemary, molasses, raspberry, wool and animal skin. On the palate, the wine reveals more of those lovely dried dark fruit notes of raisins, cherries, and plums, as well as more brandied cherries, butter, rosemary. Soft, well balanced tannins that have had time to mellow and better integrate over the last ten years. I think it maybe could've gone another year or two, but I definitely opened at a great time. Splendid, deep, complex Cabernet that was a rewarding experience to drink. — 11 years ago
