Still kicking after 17 years! Way to go Adelsheim - lovely to taste a gracefully aged WV Pinot. — 4 months ago
Awesome smooth Patty Green pinot. For $40, worth every penny. — 7 months ago
Magnum was great… ready to drink now IMO! Love Brickhouse wines! — 3 months ago
Earthy, meaty, leathery, darkly fruited. Class, breed, finesse. Classic old school Ribbon Ridge Pinot. This wine needed these 15 years to express all that. I expect at least another five years of aging potential. — 6 months ago
Fantastic! — a month ago
Picked up last year while in Oregon. Had more bite than I expected given other 2018s from Ribbon Ridge that I’ve tried but loved the peppery and lively finish! — 9 months ago
Liberace’s Bathtub
Beautiful 20 year old Oregon Pinot. Opened, re-corked, then enjoyed an hour later over the next 6 hours. Slightly clunky at first but expressed good integration after the first hour. Evolved gradually and subtly. Dried strawberries gave way to raspberry preserves and then sour cherry. Medicinal and sage notes gave way to lavender and rose then cigar/cigar box then smoky bacon and finally black tea. No real awkward phases. Likely drinking at or near peak now. — 6 days ago
