Full body, no tannins, very drinkable. One of the best that I have had the privilege to drink. — 11 years ago
Pure delight, a privilege and a pleasure. — 11 years ago
Um yeah... #BOOM status granted for this at the #yulwinethrowdown . 81 not the best of vintages and wines are reportedly past peak but this first growth was not. Very interesting flavour profile, certainly secondary characteristics but structurally still pretty sound. I was glad to find it still alive and in my opinion had many more years left before the big decline. Awesome privilege to have tasted. — 11 years ago
Totally unique and a privilege to drink this — 12 years ago
One of those Saturday night mistakes, opened, omg how did that happen. Needs 10 yrs. a wonderful full mouthed Tuscan, lost track, but what the heck, privilege to drink. Wonderful!!! — 11 years ago
Really luscious fruit, great tannin structure, mouth feel balanced, lingering spicy finish. A privilege to drink! — 11 years ago

The Fork
30 minutes in a decanter: great. 120 minutes: dumb. 5 hours: Amazing. Blackberry cobbler on the nose with a hint of graphite. Eucalyptus, old leather and cigar box across the mid. And the finish, my god, sweet oak, violets and raspberry jam. It keeps building and building. Maybe the best wine I've ever had the privilege to drink. — 11 years ago
