Herbaceous near smoke-point olive oil and bamboo shoots with a thin lemon juice on wet, river rock silhouette. The palate is full, siphoning into a barely perceptible tingle, adding buoyancy. Clean and delicious with shrimp in a homemade tomato cream sauce. A wiggle of the hips, a simple linen sashay, in a sunny field of white wildflower and clover. This Cortese really does it all. Dark ruby color with intriguing aromas that are at once both pungent and sweet with intermingled bacon fat, red fruits, black pepper, olive tapenade, and a hint of bittersweet chocolate.
