Really cool. Taken from La Guita solera (miraflores vineyard) from 2010 vintage. Still super saline, but hazelnutty toffee creeps up on finish. A little lighter than other styles I like (eg Calle Ponce) because of youth. Very unique wine — 11 years ago

Dark ruby color with intriguing aromas that are at once both pungent and sweet with intermingled bacon fat, red fruits, black pepper, olive tapenade, and a hint of bittersweet chocolate. On the palate it's very smooth, well balanced and fresh with juicy dark cherry, strawberry, warm flavors with a spicy mineral laden finish.
