Mountain stream water out of an ice cold stone bong poured by forest fairies. A 1000 times, yes. And just the right amount of dirty. Someone give me a hug. — 11 years ago
Very austere on the palate. Hug acid. Great concentration — 11 years ago
Enveloping sweet damson fruit, great perfume, this wine wants to give you a hug. Big soft spicy red fruit in the mouth, a pleasure to drink — 11 years ago
A hug in a bottle. Super Grenache and forward. A little hot but what were you expecting? — 11 years ago

waitrose gbp 35 (but on sale for gbp 30 often). bought to try it out and turned out to be a winner. like a blanc de blanc, (I usually say blanc de blanc tastes like one night stands) but this one stays like a hug. I don't like moet, my favorite is billecart salmon but this is like the little sister. — 10 years ago
Pretty aromas of all things forest-like, wrapped in a big red fruit hug. — 11 years ago
Notes of rubbing alcohol on the nose followed by a rich hug of woody notes and vanilla. Great value at 4€ a bottle too! — 11 years ago

This over delivered for sure. I didn't have hug expectations for a 9 year old Sonoma coast Pinot (even if it is morlet) but hot damn this was great. Fruit was still very much alive, framed by some sweet toasty oak (but not overpowering) it is an elegant wine yet with some backbone. Pleasant notes of ripe cherry, forest floor, confectionary sugar, vanilla and nutmeg. Highly recommended and still very much on the young side — 10 years ago
