Picked this up while visiting the winery this morning, brand new release, dark purple color, some spritz, but no real tannins so drinks beautifully tonight, balanced, solid finish, I’ve heard these age for quite some time, but I didn’t make it 6 hours since purchase!! 😎🙄😁 — 5 months ago
Looovely wine aged well and one of the best Shiraz’s I’ve had. Not too expensive either!… — 9 months ago
This wine is somewhat of a unicorn being made from vines planted in 1868 believed to be the oldest Pinot Meunière vines still being used to make wine in the world. I decanted this wine but probably no need as there was zero sediment. Colour was a transparent light Ruby red. A palate of bright red cherries with a toffee note. Light to medium weight palate. Not as complex as an older example I once tried which was stunning and different. This has a long life ahead of it. This is the first of 3 and not ready yet. — a year ago

There are many tasting notes of mine on Delectable over several vintages as it has always been one of my favourite Australian reds. Dark Ruby with a lighter crimson edge. White ground pepper with fresh spices and black fruits (black cherry). Charcuterie. Ticks so many boxes. The only disappointing aspect has been the steady increase in price to now be sitting at around $200 reflecting its status in the Australian red wine hierarchy. — 3 months ago
