2020 Christmas gift from neighbors. Rick and I both like it a lot. Fuller than most pinot noirs (good thing) but lighter than most cabs...closer to a blend. — 5 years ago
The 2023 kept its beauty over 3 days . Each day showing fuller riper fruit while maintaining a tart and taut edge. Pineapple. Orchard fruits, citrus. Impressive. — 8 months ago
Very dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, strawberry and toasted oak. On the palate, it mirrors the nose with the fruit, oak and some vanilla to round it out. Medium to fuller body and well balanced. Smooth tannins and a medium to shorter finish. A nice easy drinking wine at this price point of $25 at total wine. — 5 years ago
Chateau de Manissy, Tavel rose, Cuvee des Lys. Salmon rose coloration. Very pretty color. On the nose, red berry, cherry and florals. On the palate, red berries, strawberries, minerals, florals, nice fuller body and full mouthfeel. — 2 years ago
Fragrant cherries and spice, very smooth mouth feel with a slightly dry and tannin finish. It gives a light body feeling with a fuller body impact. Seems to have a smoky earthy foundation that gives support to the fruit. Also sense a freshness that has a near citrus sensation. This is a dimensional wine worth exploring. — 4 years ago
Terrible label, delicious wine. Toasty, almondy chard. A fuller flavoured alternative to the usual burgundies at a similar price — 6 years ago

A pale lemon yellow in colour - quite youthful looking for a 12 year old Chardonnay. Aromatics of white peach - mealy and nutty notes, still with a nice acid cut at the finish. Drinking at its peak. Fuller than some Marg River Chardonnays I’ve had lately like Xanadu and Fraser Gallop. I have had richer Art Series Chardonnays but personally I love the balance in this. Tasted in May 2025 the first bottle. Had my 2nd last bottle on 20th September 2025 and it was utterly delicious. Stone fruit and dried pear character to the fore. I will have my last bottle in the coming summer or early 2026 and will make a fresh Delectable note. — 6 months ago
