Great fruit. Got better over time. Great job Dan and Michael — 10 years ago
I love Dan Standish. He is one of the best winemakers. Lovely wine, very young. Blueberry and Red silky fruit. Full Bodied but not overly alcoholic, heat isn't obvious in this wine. Great length and layers of flavours. Big points from me 95 points. A producer I highly recommend! Typical sweet Barossa fruit, very seductive... — 10 years ago

A keeper. Subtle and interesting but quite approachable. Had it with Claire and Dan with sone Naples-style ragu. — 10 years ago
Dusty cherries and plums, with notes of smoke, licorice, and cherry jam. A little lacking in acid, but quite delicious in that it is much more earth driven than most of its Galilee counterparts. It has a finish that incorporates cloves, cinnamon, and cocoa. Tannins are very well integrated. Better quality than most of its counterparts. — 10 years ago
Dark, half opaque ruby. Funky aromas come to the nose right away, in harmonic array between white truffles, mushrooms, a bit of cow manure, and red and dark cherry aromas. Wonderful presentation upon entrance in the palate, showing delicious cherry juice flavors that evolve onto darker fruits such as black currant and dates, but also a bit of vegetable V-8 juice, celery, and tomato juice as it evolves in your mouth towards a desirable lingering finish. What a pleasant surprise this wine is, made out of one of my favorite varietals, from Dan, Israel, for $10 ten US dollars?? This is really pretty good. The finish lingers with pretty savory flavors and V-8 juice. Even some coppery, bit of bloody mary flavors. Can't wait to try this with prime rib or beef bourgognon. 89+ pts. — 11 years ago
Personally didn't try it. But company said it was really good. — 12 years ago
I've recently had Dick Vermeil and Drew Bledsoe's wines but this one gets my vote for best football themed steakhouse Cab. Well done by Dan Marino and Damon Huard (and of course the winemaker Chris Peterson). This is way too young, but I look forward to checking in on these in a few years. — 10 years ago
