Medium straw in the glass with a very distinctive green tinge. Ocean spray aromas greet you initially but the fruit soon takes over. Green apples, quince, and honeysuckle. Butterscotch and lime zest. Terribly pretty.
Pure Jacquère from 70 year old vines in Savoie. Pleasing minerality with soft acidity. Exceedingly fresh, this is a lively and energetic wine. Displays enough depth and focus to keep you interested throughout. Honey, nuts, and dried herbs join those citrus notes from the nose on the palate. Pour a glass, sit it down and forget about it for a while. Let it warm up in the glass and you’ll be rewarded. — 7 months ago
Such a deep gold color. Palate is smokey, flinty and honeyed. New tweed jacket. Hint of VA. But really a unique Les Filles. Very complex aromas. Luscious, pure and balanced. Wow this palate is super elegant and nimble for this cuvee. So juicy and almost weightless. Gorgeous finish. Closed but my goodness this is stunning. Amazingly textured almost tannic on the finish. So wonderful. — 2 months ago
Sure it needs time. I’m not gonna give it that. Too good. Pretty as heck. 2021 — 7 months ago
I don’t know if it’s the five years of age, but it was short in the mouth despite promising beginnings. The nose was absolutely lovely. — 2 years ago

Muscadet of the Alps! Nose is wet hay, wild flowers, minerals, some underarm and more. So complex and expressive. Palate is super juicy and has huge acid and energy but also a pillowy texture and terrific fruit intensity. Long and so pretty. Let’s see what air does. This has gained lovely richness with air. Still a 9.3 but love that contrast with the acids. Also killer finesse. Close to a 9.4. — 2 days ago
