On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our conductor Andris Nelsons is leading John WILLIAMS (Violin Concerto No. 2, written specifically for the intended soloist this evening) featuring the violin virtuoso, Anne-Sophie Mutter, STRAUSS (Death and Transfiguration, Opus 24) and then RAVEL (La Valse). — 8 months ago
Like not love. Cherry/cranberry. Earthy - almost mushroom. — a year ago
crazy perfumed nose, vanilla extract, spice, so much spice, so much non fruit aromas, amazing mousse and bubble, so long and so concentrated, finish is endless, timeless, no hard edges. 9.9. so sappy and concentrated and so much energy, so much toastiness, the finish is really what it’s all about. Wow this is so long. — 9 months ago
