One of the first vintages after Romain Lignier's passing. Black plum and cherry, and sous bois notes. Elegant structure and acidity; will continue to drink for another 10 years. — 10 years ago

2012, Clos des Vignes du Maynes, Cuvee Auguste Bourgogne, Pinot Noir. A very good Bourgogne: tart red fruit, forest floor, wet dirt, acid. Another excellent wine from Julien Guillot. — 11 years ago
Delightful with pork sausage and mushroom in pasata with fresh spaghetti. — 10 years ago
Study day part 2. Also Daniël Ravier visited Amsterdam. A fantastic range of predominantly older vintages were showcased next to eachother. What a treat! Tough wines with a warm and sensual soul. Big finesse and expressiveness throughout all the vintages. I admired the Cabassaou 1993. The flagship cuvée of Tempier with 95% of Mourvèdre, from the lower (shielded) part of the Tourtine vineyard. Southern perfection. — 10 years ago

Really nice. Fairly simple fruit, nice pine forest finish. Just the right level of acidity. — 10 years ago
