Really nice and, I think, pretty close to peaking. More of a red-fruited Brunello, it’s got a complex nose of red fruit, cherry, warm brick, spices. In the mouth the texture is soft and enveloping and the red fruit is augmented with nice savory balsamic notes. Very nice near term Brunello.

Not what I had planned for St Patrick’s but we have to make do during a quarantine!

Drank this at Carbone (at Sadelle’s, due to COVID indoor 25% capacity). Adored this, especially when paired with the amazing meal. Would like to try again to see how it stands alone
