Meaty, pure, juicy, silky, vibrant. Mad tasty juice. Insane QPR. Off the hook!

Surprisingly fresh in the nose with dark cherry, garden herbs, bleach olives and some roast & bacon + earthy tones in the background. Very youth in fact.
On the palate this shows nice concentration and a rich, slightly fatty mouthfeel, yet without any heaviness. This is in fact very nicely balanced with juicy, velvety, mellowing tannins and fresh acidity. More bacon & roast than cherry on the palate, making it more savoury and highly food friendly.
This is in a beautiful spot & drinking very nicely right now!

Restrained blue and black fruits, dried flower, a little bit black pepper, rusty iron, and hint of game. The palate, while round, feels a bit lean. Brisk acidity has a slight hard edge. I’m not sure if I gave this enough time, but I decanted the bottle for about an hour before serving, but somehow it feels disjoint, though the finish was long and harmonious.
Consider the reputation of Chave, this is kind of a disappointment, even though this is a negociant bottling.

Delightful wine! Rich manly aromas of dark cherry, fruit leather, sandalwood and blackberry pie.

Soft tannins, drinking wonderfully right now. A minerality that borders on salinity, especially on the finish.

I'm looking forward to every fresh pour because it starts the whole complexity wheel spinning again.
