Drink up, the acid is starting to dwindle, but it isn't flabby yet. Rich mature Cali-chard with a nice balance of citrus fruits, tropical fruits, and robust body from barrel time.

($75) Good full yellow. Yellow plum and lemon plus a whiff of oyster shell on the rather laid-back nose. Lush, round and seamless, with very good fullness and depth to its mirabelle flavor. Finishes smooth but fresh, with lingering spice character. Both this and the Sebastopol Vineyard bottling are from old Wente clones and were bottled without fining or filtration.
