Listen---first of all I have had many outstanding bottles of Quilceda and we all know they generally need 10 years of bottle age to start shedding their massive tannins--but at 9 years this is a harsh, camphor and cough syrup mess. Audozed for 4 hours because I was trapped without a decanter. Just a disaster in a glass last night. Most of the bottle is left so I will report back when I revisit tonight or tomorrow. — 9 years ago
Is this a feature (or bug) of Palengat?
@Michael Meyer @Richard Steinberg this is the first of the palengat that I have opened. I'd like to think it just needs time but I'm not so sure.....
That is disappointing, like you said they make good wine.
