This is the last of an original dozen - proved to be an excellent buy for only $32 per bottle. See previous note 49 weeks ago. Stalky whole bunch notes together with nice black berry, cassis and mint. Typical Margaret River herbaceous notes but this also has an SA Cassis bent. Not full bodied but definitely full flavoured with M+ intensity you get from quality Marg River Cabernet. So enjoyable to drink this with a Barbecued grass fed Rib Fillet - medium rare. — 10 months ago
Great left bank Bordeaux blend from South Africa. Dark fruits, pencil lead...Cabernet Sauvignon taste....actually this is all Cab Sav. Made by a Bordeaux lady who moved to South Africa — 5 years ago

Delectable red berry and black plums on the nose with an amazingly smooth finish. The acidity is just perfect in this Cabernet. — 8 years ago
Enjoyed with the charcuterie platter at culina #yeg Great tannin to handle all the sodium and protein. Dark and rich. Full on the palate. — 9 years ago
One of the best values I have ever had. — 10 years ago
Really light 12.5%, but ripe and delicious. Fast early vintage — 9 months ago
Brilliant silver-straw. Lime zest, honeysuckle, succulent herbs and chalky minerals on the incisive nose. Dry, tightly focused and lithe on the palate, offering intense citrus and orchard fruit flavors that reveal a hint of waxiness and a refreshingly bitter quinine note. Shows a delicate touch and finishes clean, nervy and quite long, with resonating mineral character and a hint of lemon thyme. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, July 2021)

Callie gave me this bottle, which Joris buys in bulk. Didn’t know what to expect from South Africa. Holy moly! Lush, savory, medium bodied, well-integrated tannins. Greatly exceeded my expectations. Wish I could find more of this. — 4 years ago

Pear and paw-paw, lemon pudding, pineapple spray, and lime zest form the atmosphere, riveting pine and lime interplay on landing, chalky and dusty brown touch, getting steely and framing a lemon peel and racy peach skin that recalls a Condrieu strata that keeps it very interesting indeed. #southafricanwine #cheninblanc #steen — 8 years ago

Simple. Easy drinking. — 7 years ago
Garnet red with some bricking around the edges. Some dirty notes of the nose with a little greenery and soft dark berries in the finish. Moderate tannins (7/10) with good acidity, a little higher than expected. Mainly red berries on the palate with some savory herbs in the finish. Medium plus bodied and medium plus finish. Tastes a little older than an 09. Drink till 2018. — 7 years ago
