This is a delight and drinking gorgeously. Reminds me of sitting at a cafe in Tibilisi years ago. A good memory i’ve been chasing for almost a decade. Strong dark red color with dried cherries, leather, and chocolate on the nose. Structure is great, the tannins are not too intense and acidity is just right. Prunes and spice, a little earth. This is the Tibaani bottling.
On the nose there’s a wonderfully complex mix of treacle tart, apricot pastry, sticky toffee pudding, Manuka honey, warm terracotta pot, flapjack, gingerbread, yellow raisins and toasted almonds.
The palate shows spicy apricot, turmeric and gingerbread character, the tannins are sapid, firm but chalky and quite fine, certainly a wine that works best with food.

Light golden colour . Aromatic with peach , orange rind , white flowers . On the palate quite grippy and textural, with a waxy apricot , peach and honey , saline character. Decent length and even though the acidity is relatively low , the wine is balanced through its texture and tannin . I would imagine this will age well over the next 5-8 years but is enjoyable now — 6 hours ago
