Nose of apricot, vanilla, anise, fennel, and petrol. Lovely and smooth with golden fruit notes. Very easy drinking and goes down smoothly. Wonderful! — 5 years ago
Perfectly paired with shrimp scampi cooked with shallots, garlic, butter and a bit of the wine! — 9 years ago
The nose just gives off a brightness that reminds me of wines from the late 70s and early 89s from the Maconnais but that seems rare these days. Buckets of crisp apple and white peach, a little straw, wet clay-like minerality. Deeply flavored in the mouth, with an initial whack of fruit before low-toned mineral earth notes take over. Bright acids to propel the whole thing along. Really nice! — 7 months ago
Purchased at Draeger’s. Purchased more than once, very enjoyable cocktail white. — 4 years ago

Another excellent Pouilly-Fuisse from this producer. Relatively deep gold color. Explosive nose shows complex notes of butter, toast, sliced fresh pear fruit, deep powdery limestone dust, moist gravel, lemon oil. Full-bodied, powerful acids, long minerally flavors. Does not skimp. — 2 years ago
Great price, but I did not love it enough to adopt as my every day white. — 3 years ago

@Delectable Wine - This is the 1er Cru Les Menetrieres. It’s a softer, gentler rendition. Really nice nose has lots of subtleties. Pear skin fruit, wet clay, butter, straw, bitter honey, meadow flowers. In the mouth, it’s very softly textured, and has flavors on the lower range of the spectrum, with clay and stone minerality leading the way. There is also some apple/ pear fruit. The acids are a little lower and less forceful than I expected for a ‘21. Very nice wine. Drink over the next year or two. — a month ago
