This is the best bottling I've had from these guys. On the second day it really is hitting all the notes with about a three octave range. — 6 years ago
I'm sorry I woke you up but I need to check in on you and your friends. Day 1 is compact and very concentrated. Vinous and dense. Just needs some time to wake up. Already tons of garrigue, tar, talcum, licorice and dense fruit out the ass. Super silky given it's weight. Day 2: still sleepy. Showing some more black fruit compote, black tea, raspy herbs, bitter cocoa, cedar. Day 3: this big boy is just waking up. Relaxed a lot though since the last 2 glasses went down very quickly. 30% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 10% Counoise, 5% Cinsault etc — 8 years ago
Really tasty with the smokey Bbq at Lamberts. Really loved how light body this CDP is. — 8 years ago

Very nice blend with great body. — 10 years ago
The perfect wine to wind down a long week. Bright fruit flavors of raspberry, strawberry, rhubarb, and a bit of cherry cola also. Fun and casual. 100% Counoise. 4/7/23. — a year ago
Looks, smells, and tastes like Hi-C fruit punch. This is not a bad thing, though the flavors don't really pop out until the wine comes up closer to room temperature (assuming you chilled it beforehand). At various points I caught notes of cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, and rhubarb. A fun, non-pretentious take on a Rhône grape not often featured on its own. 100% Counoise. 6/13/22. — 2 years ago

Chef recommended at girl and fig in Sonoma - very smooth, light, fruity (berries), mildly sweet — 8 years ago
Very clear, dark purple, and surprisingly bright. Nose has lots of vanilla, spicy minerality, and cooked blackberries and raspberries. Maybe some gaminess. Medium body, medium + acid, medium viscosity, medium- tannins. Palette also sees gaminess, sour cherries. Bottle says 13.5%, but tastes higher to me. — 8 years ago
Great with a turkey dinner — 10 years ago
Juicy, a bit chilled and opened marvelously with a few hours. Paired with Sondheim's "Company." Awesome night with my brother. — 11 years ago
Delicious earthy flavor, find it at Binnys (tasted with John) — 2 years ago
Charles is in charge of my taste buds! Seriously though, Scott Baio is just terrible now. But this wine isn’t. Great taste for the price point! — 2 years ago
Spicy and bold. Enjoy with a powerful steak. — 6 years ago
Cranberry and creme brule. Great wood on this. Balanced. — 7 years ago
Wow! Smoky nose with musty characteristics - in a good way. The wine sings with berry flavors and herbal notes! Delicious. — 8 years ago
