Bought this just to “try” with several friends at a home get together of several grilled meats; pork, beef and lamb “pieces”. The wine seemed to work nicely with all. Deep, strong hints of fruit and good tannin; I was a bit surprised because of the blends but found it to be a keeper. It has become one of our favorite wines to bring to others when visiting! Good reviews from all who received it!

Dark ruby red color, some purple edges, with aromas of dark fruits and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with vanilla, cedar and cinnamon spice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cedar and spice. — 4 months ago
